Restaurant Waterloo is a boutique restaurant located in the heart of Battery Point. We are open Wednesday to Sunday for Lunch and Dinner, plus Weekend Breakfasts. We have a lovely sun-filled dining room and garden courtyard, plus our menu features fresh local produce and the best of Tassie wines. This is the first venture for Chef Angela Trickett and her partner Kerry Harris. Angela trained in Melbourne and has spent the past few years working in resorts around Australia. The menu is simple with each dish done with care. Try the open chicken and mushroom pie to start, followed by the lamb backstrap marinated in garlic and oregano and served on pesto mash with a mild chilli and tomato ratatouille. Finish with a warm chocolate mud cake and cream. You may accompany these succulent dishes with a local or international wine from a small but very reasonably priced wine list. Located in the restaurant area of Battery Point, this venue is a stone's throw from Hobart.
